Constanti Real Estate spent over a month negotiating and advising a Russian Company based in China who were offered an old Stalinist Hotel called ' The Friendship Palace" .The land site measured 8 hectares south of Stalin Park.It was critical to engage with a team of lawyers at Eversheds in the UK and in China in addition to surveyors , planners and various meetings with the mayor of Harbin which Constanti Real Estate attended. Negotiating the transaction also involved the Harbin Economic Cooperation Bureau for foreign direct investment strategies paying close attention to the geographical and trade associations between the Federation of Russia and China.A delegation was organised in cooperation with Societe Generale based in Beijing who organised local developers and investors into the project working along side Constanti Real Estate and our client. To date this presents the most interesting deal that we have been involved in and gave us a rare and exclusive insight into buying real estate in China in dealing with provincial second tier cities which in this case was still larger than London's population which is just as efficient and modern and yet relatively unheard of.
